Personal Finance is a half-credit course that will look at how the principles of economics impact you and your family’s choices. The course will give the students a foundation in economics and their practical applications in everyday finance. Students who have successfully completed the course will understand the framework of supply and demand, disposable income, household budgeting, inflation, employment and unemployment, interest rates, cost-benefit analysis, GDP and GNP, and trades and tariffs.
